low cost ROW HOUSE

There were several constraints imposed for the maximum surface of the estate (250 sqm) and the maximum surface of the house (100 sqm). Moreover, the total cost of the project had to fit into a limited budget of 55k EUR. Each house had to be a module of a narrow row houses area. The proposed concept started from the traditional shape of the house from Banat area. In the backyard the traditional porch was reinterpreted. Beside fitting into the imposed limitations and budget, the house has a very low total cost of ownership (TCO) because of its sustainable systems which make it energy efficient (eg. natural ventilation with heat recuperation).
